• At Beyond Alphabets, our enrichment programs combine trusted academic resources with creative, hands-on learning. We focus on building strong foundations in Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language, while also fostering creativity, movement, and cultural enrichment.​

At Beyond Alphabets, our core curriculum follows California state standards and is organized into clear, measurable “I can” learning statements, so students and families always understand the learning goals. • Because our team is committed to maintaining this balance for all students, any parent who wishes for their child to receive customized worksheets or individualized curriculum may choose our Homework Tutoring / One-on-One Learning Setup.

• This option allows our teachers to focus exclusively on your child’s specific academic needs, goals, and progress, providing a truly personalized learning experience.

Outdoor Nature & Park Programs

Learning Outside the Classroom

• Beyond Alphabets’ outdoor nature science program takes place at local parks, lakes, and other outdoor spaces — where children explore, discover, and create. Each session blends hands-on science investigations with art projects and maker activities so students learn by doing: measuring, observing, sketching, building, and reflecting. Our outdoor lessons are curriculum-linked, age-appropriate, and designed to deepen curiosity while building confidence.​

Park Days — Play, Learn, Connect

• Our monthly Park Days are the best way for homeschool families to socialize and grow community. They feature guided nature activities, cooperative play, art stations, and special demonstrations (like the bubble shows, face painting!).

• Park Days are relaxed, family-friendly, and perfect for making new friends.

Field Trips & Year-Round Events

• We schedule regular field trips and events throughout the school year that are both fun and educational:

• Hands-on field trips to lakes, nature centers, farms, and outdoor learning sites

• Science investigations and nature journaling sessions

• Community events that connect learning to local places

• If an event requires an entrance fee or tickets, parents are responsible for providing tickets for both themselves and their child.

​Holiday & Cultural Celebrations

• We celebrate culture, tradition, and family through seasonal events that welcome everyone:

• Halloween Parade — costume fun, games, and safe tricks & treats

• Thanksgiving & Cultural Sharing — families share traditions and dishes while students learn about cultures around the world.

• Christmas Party with Santa — photos with Santa, crafts, and kid-friendly activities

• End-of-Year Graduation — a family celebration to honor student growth; families are invited to participate and contribute.

Family Participation & Community

• Beyond Alphabets welcome families to participate in our program by joining activities, leading a workshop, or sharing a cultural dish. Parents are also encouraged to coordinate with teachers to visit the classroom, read stories, or talk about their professions. Our programs are truly community-centered—the more families are involved, the richer and more meaningful the experience becomes for everyone.

Funding Options

The enrichment programs can be funded in several ways:

• Homeschool Charter Funds – We are an approved vendor with multiple charters.

• Children’s Home Society – Support available for qualifying families.

• Orange County Department of Education – Certain programs may qualify for assistance.

• Regional Center of Orange County

• Private Pay – Flexible out-of-pocket option for families.

Co-Op Enrichment Program (With Guardians)

Fridays Only | Ages 2–3 | 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

This once-a-week early childhood program builds confidence, social connection, and early learning readiness. With active guardian participation, the co-op model fosters meaningful engagement and community.

Program Highlights:

• Sensory-based activities and themed projects

• Music, movement, and guided playtime

• Starting with coloring, counting, learning about patterns, and exploring art and crafts activities.

• Social skill-building: turn-taking, teamwork, sharing

• Monthly outdoor park day for hands-on learning and connection

TK–6th Grade Enrichment

Monday to Thursday

Choose 2, 3, or 4 Days a Week | 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Our elementary enrichment classes focus on hands-on, creative, and academically aligned learning across all core subjects.

• Beginner to Intermediate Spanish

Students are encouraged to build, explore, analyze, and present through inquiry and project-based learning.

During the first two weeks of school, Beyond Alphabets educators assess each student’s academic and social-emotional development to ensure appropriate group placement and lesson pacing.

Mixed-age group days promote peer mentoring, patience, and teamwork, while students still receive instruction tailored to their skill level.

Re-Enrollment Policy

If a parent chooses to withdraw a child from the Enrichment Program and later wishes to re-enroll, the child will be considered a new enrollment. At that time, a new registration fee, applicable material fees, and current tuition rates will apply.

Saving Your Child’s Spot

Enrollment is limited to ensure small group sizes and personalized attention. To secure your child’s place in the Beyond Alphabets Enrichment Program, a non-refundable $200 registration and materials fee is required at the time of registration.

Families can complete the Enrollment Form on https://www.beyondalphabets.org/home-school-enrichment-programs and submit the registration fee to reserve their spot. This fee covers part of the curriculum resources, classroom supplies, project materials, and science/art kits for the school year.

Enrollment & Tuition

• Accepting private-pay and charter-funded students

• Annual $200 registration/materials fee covers supplies, curriculum, and lesson materials

• Parents may choose to pay tuition either monthly or by semester. While some charter schools process payments on a semester basis, Beyond Alphabets prefers to receive purchase orders (POs) per semester to ensure timely enrollment and program planning.

• No refunds for absences or holiday closures

Full Year: Sept 10, 2025 – May 20, 2026

• 1 Day/Week (Ages; 2 to 3 Fridays Only): $220/Month or $990/Semester

• 2 Days/Week (TK–High School): $400/Month or $1800/Semester

• 3 Days/Week (TK–High School)): $530/Month or $2385/Semester

• 4 Days/Week (TK–High School)): $750/Month or $3375/Semester

Snacks: Healthy, nut-free snacks and lunch must be sent daily.
